How to get there
Campobello Island is a little over 2 hours east of Bangor. It is Canadian territory, just over a short bridge from Lubec, Maine. Roosevelt International Park, co-owned and managed by the US and Canada, occupies a large portion of the island a tribute to Franklin D Roosevelt whose summer home is preserved and open to the public.
