If your activities will be focused in the town, then a car is not necessary (most things are within walking distance), the condo is located a quick cab ride from the P-town airport, the ferry is within walking distance, as is the main supermarket. If you are planning to visit some of the more isolated beaches and locations up Cape, then a car is useful. The condo does have a reserved parking space located one and a half blocks from the unit - we park on the street to load and offload at the condo. The are public car parks, but parking in town is tight.
