How to get there

From the South, leave the M90 at junction 6, take the exit through Kinross and travel about 4 miles east on the A911, Kinross to Glenrothes road.

From the North, leave the M90 at junction 7, take the exit through Milnathort, travel about 4 miles southeast on the A911, Milnathort to Glenrothes road.

Driving along the A911, when you've passed Loch Leven's Larder (on your right) and the Balgedie Toll Tavern (on your left), you're getting close! The Gate Lodge is the first cottage on the left after passing the Easter Balgedie sign. You'll hopefully spot the purple chimney pot! Getting around

Edinburgh Airport is only 40 mins drive away and Glasgow is about 1 and 1/2 hours away. Having a car is a must as the property is in the countryside and is not well served by public transport. It is however very near Kinross and the M90 so access to many of parts of Scotland is very easy. The nearest local train station is Lochgelly (8miles) and Kirkcaldy station is only about 20 mins away and is on the main line north and south. There is also a park and ride service from Kinross.
