Hydra is connected with the mainland by ferries yo u can pick up from Piraeus port in Athens. The journey lasts from 1.5 to 2 hours depending on the route selected. Piraeus port is connected directly with Athens airport with the bus line X97 so landing to the airport to arriving to hydra is a piece of cake.
