A car is really pretty essential to enjoying a stay at Casa Nova. There is a good range of shops and restaurants within a ten minute drive but any of these would be a fairly hearty walk away. If, however, there is at least one driver in your party, it is possible for some of your guests to go off on adventures of their own, being dropped at the railway stations at Terontola (mainline, Milan-Florence-Rome services) or Niccone (local line between Arezzo, Perugia and Southern Umbria) or heading off on bikes and being picked up at the end of the day.
