L'Ogliastra si raggiunge preferibilmente in auto partendo dai principali porti e aeroporti della Sardegna: Aeroporto di Cagliari/Elmas, porto di Cagliari, aeroporto di Olbia, porto di Olbia e infine il porto di Arbatax (Tortolì), situato nella costa Ogliastrina.

Getting around
Our territory, Ogliastra, is made up of many small municipalities. Public transportation is present but not as efficient as in cities. There are no trams, subways, trains or other means that allow you to move at all hours of the day and in any position. We therefore recommend, if you want to discover our territory and if you want to be autonomous, to reach the house from ports and airports and to spend the holiday with your own transport. The position enjoyed by Bari Sardo, central and privileged within the Ogliastra area, ordered by nature like an amphitheater, allows those who stay there to move easily in all points of the provincial territory.
