How to get there
The house is 15 minutes from Bergerac airport and only a little more than 3 kilometers from Gardonne railway station. The house is 3.5 kms up the D15 road from Gardonne following the direction for Sigoules. (While in Gardonne the road is labelled rue de Monteton but later becomes known as route de Sigoules). The railway crossing is about half the way to our house which is on the left hand side.
After the small hamlet of Les Mouthes comes our hamlet, Le Maine.
Several old stone buildings sit on either side of the road. Our small lane is just after this. Our house sits at the end of the lane under an enormous Lebanese Cedar. Please come through the gate and park the car inside our yard. There is plenty of room.

Getting around
It is possible to travel around using bikes which we have available for no extra charge and then use the local train service which runs about every 45 minutes on an irregular service during the day. It is of course much more convenient however if you are able to have the use of a vehicle as that allows you to visit some of the world heritage sites which are about an hour or an hour and half from the house.
