The Airport at PantNagar is operational but the flights are only 2-3 times a week . The best option is to take the Train from Delhi to Kathgodam (5 and a half hours) and from there hire a taxi upto our place (Another 2 hours 30 minutes). The route from Kathgodam is as follows : Kathgodam to Bhimtal and then Bhowali. From Bhowali take the highway going to Almora. You will cross Kainchi Dham, Garam Pani and then Kakdi Ghat. 12 km before Almora u will come to a place called Kwarab . The Kwarab milestone is just before a bridge. The road forks there and u do not cross the bridge but go straight up on the road which says Mauna . Mauna is 11 KM from the fork. Come to the Patwari Chowki in Mauna and the cottage is just opposite to the Patwari Chowki
