How to get there
Official taxis are available at the airport. Look for the ticket counter for collective ground transport or private transport/taxis as you exit into the airport from the baggage pickup/immigration/customs areas.
Ask the driver to take you to El Tamarindo, Colonia La Ropa, ZIhuatanejo. El Tamarindo is located about 150 meters past the Dolphins on Paseo Escénico Playa la Ropa, between Loot and the Oxxo convenience store.

Getting around
Taxis and the town's micro-buses pass right by the door of the house. The tamarind tree out front provides a shady bus stop. If you're into walking, it's fun to walk into town in the early morning or late afternoon, but it's a bit arduous during the heat of midday (for mad dogs and Englishmen only!).
