Please note: the cottage is situated in a secluded spot half mile off the public road down an unmade single farm track with passing places (unsuitable for low slung vehicles). After wet or wintry weather it can be a bit of a bumpy ride so care should be taken driving down it.

The cottage is located in a rural area which is not on a bus or train route so a car is highly recommended. Nearest bus stop is approx 1.5 miles away (Hanley - Leek - Buxton). Nearest train stations are Buxton (10 miles away), Stoke-on-Trent (15 miles away) and Macclesfield (17 miles away). Nearest airports are Manchester and East Midlands. Hire cars can be picked up at the airport and Stoke-on-Trent train station.
