How to get there

Book your flight to Grenada on various international airlines-- BA, Virgin, Air Canada, Jet Blue, AA, interCaribbean etc and then you have the option of a connecting flight on SVG (St Vincent & the Grenadines Airline) or using the daily ferry service from Grenada.

You can book SVG on line-- do note that their luggage restrictions are not the same as the international carriers. Depending on your connections, it may be necessary to over night in a guest house or hotel in Grenada. Others prefer to take the ferry which allows them more luggage. You can ask us specific questions if necessary.

Getting around

Small vans (private buses) run around the island and one can go to most of the main inhabited areas. There is a bus "terminal" in Hillsborough and most people including the tourist board will be happy to help you master public transportation. However, If you wish to go to Anse La Roche -- a lovely secluded bay located north of Bogles-- you will have to walk from Bogles unless you have a rental vehicle -- an SUV is more suitable as the roads are very rough. To experience the restaurants in the Harvey Vale/Tyrell Bay area a car is necessary for most unless you are a very experienced walker!! By the way The Bogles Round House offers lovely meals most days
