How to get there
Visitors driving from the North are advised to approach Babbacombe via Teignmouth for a more scenic drive in along the coast. Full instructions are given after booking.

Getting around
Very good bus services with stops conveniently close by. There are the usual tourist buses too. There are country buses such as the Haytor Hoppa which will take you to Dartmoor. Perhaps most fun is with thebferries. these are remarkably inexpensive and a trip to Brixham or Dartmouth is great fun. Train to Exeter or Exmouth or Plymouth is easy. A lovely day out is to go to St Ives by rail. A few changes but real Enid Blyton country along the route. Cycle paths also good with several cycle trials and a velodrome.
