Travelling by car

You can reach Surrey Hills Yurts at Mad Horse Copse from the village of Westcott on the A25. If you're coming from Dorking, enter Westcott and turn left after the Indian restaurant into Logmore Lane. If you are coming from Guildford, enter Westcott and turn right just after the church and before the Bay Leaf Indian restaurant into Logmore Lane.

Follow Logmore Lane for around three minutes until you reach a row of houses on the left-hand side. Just after the row of houses, there will be a sign for Surrey Hills Yurts, turn left onto a track and follow it until you can turn right into our parking area at the top of the woodland.

We have parking for six vehicles, including a disabled bay. Please let us know when booking If a disabled bay is required. If possible, please consider using public transport to reach us to fit with our eco-friendly vibe!

Travelling by bike

You can either cycle to our site if you're within peddling distance or we're more than happy to pick you and your bike up from the local train stations in Dorking in our Land Rover. We can also arrange for you to be picked up by horse-drawn carriage if booked in advance.

Travelling by rail

The nearest train stations are Dorking and Dorking Deepdene. It takes under an hour from London Waterloo, London Bridge or London Victoria to reach Dorking and we can be waiting on arrival at the station to take you to Surrey Hills Yurts. Alternatively you can walk to our site from Dorking – approx 30min or take a bus from Dorking to Westcott.

Travelling by air

We are 15 miles from Gatwick Airport which takes around 30 minutes to drive by car. You can catch the train direct from Gatwick Airport station to Dorking Deepdene in around 20 minutes, and then we can pick you up from the station to whisk you away to Surrey Hills Yurts.

We are 30 miles from London Heathrow, which takes around 45 minutes to drive by car, depending on traffic. It will take around one hour, 45 minutes to reach us by public transport.

Travelling by bus:

The Arriva number 32 bus stops in Westcott village. We can pick you up from the village or you can walk to our site via Public Footpath approx 20min. or give us a ring and we will pick you up.
