How to get there
The island has good rail links from Portsmouth. You can travel from Waterloo to Portsmouth, then by hover to Ryde where you can catch the small island train to Shanklin. From here you can get the bus direct to Ventnor and it is a short walk a street away to Tithas Cottage. There is also an island steam train - great for all ages.
