From Coyhaique or Balmaceda, guests can reach by road or by plane. By road, from Coyhaique or Balmaceda, take the Caretera Austral to the south towards Cochrane. When reaching Puerto Tranquilo (220km from Coyhaique; duration about 4 to 5 hours), meet us at the selling point of the Karut Boat which is located on the very same road. According to the weather conditions, we will sail from Puerto Tranquilo itself or from Bahía Mansa (where the boats for the Marble Caves depart), always favoring the latter to assure a comfortable trip for the guests. The trip to Isla Macías takes about 15 to 25 minutes depending on the weather. By plane, there are several landing fields available around Puerto Tranquilo from where we will pick you up and take you to Bahía Mansa or Puerto Tranquilo. Flights take about 35 minutes from Coyhaique or Balmaceda.
