How to get there
There are four airports serving the island of Corsica. If you fly to Corsica we recommend either flying to Calvi (St Catherine Airport) which is 8KM from the town or Bastia which is an easy 2-hour drive from Calvi.
Arriving by ferry the nearest port is Ile Rousse (approximately 25 minutes drive from Calvi). Alternatively Bastia offers another ferry port.

Getting around
You can explore the area by the following ways. I have left a number of information leaflets in a folder in the apartment: Boat trips (book at the harbour) Coach trips Quad Bikes 4x4 Adventures to remote beaches Rail - there is a railway line between Calvi and Ille Rousse. The train stops at many different beaches on the way, you can hop off and then get the train back at the end of a day on the beach Car - if you haven't hired a car for the duration of your trip there are car hire offices in the town to hire one for a few days
