How to get there

You can arrive at the airport or to the ferry Port of Naxos. If you come for less than one week you do not need a car, the owner can pick you up and bring you back (7p upon agreement). Kalandos is one of the best (if not the best) POIs of Naxos, has a twice Trip Adviser primed Restaurant and you can just stay and enjoy. In less than 1km you have the more beautiful beaches of the island. You have also the opportunity to visit the little Cyclades from the port of Kalandos with a sea taxi or a local Kaïki (ficher boat) in less than 30 minutes, instead of 2 hours from the main port of Naxos.

The house is away from it all. You have in the area 3 of the best restaurants (1choice TripAdvisor) in 0.9 or 2 others in1.3 km, both with very afordable prices. You are in the middle of a natural reserve, the first place with shops is in 25 km.

Living in this exceptional preserved site, still in the state of rural Greece 50 years ago, is not done without some concessions.

1. The road to the property from the main central village Filoti is one of the newest, best and most beautiful in Naxos. However, in its last 2.5 km is a dirty road that is passable even by a first price car but not too low (Fiat Panda for example is OK). We recommend a slightly larger car or a 4X4 for more comfort and necessary if you wish to visit without problem other interesting places which are sometimes even more difficult to reach.

2. Water is very rare in the Eagean Archipelago. We ask our guests to use all the water they need but avoid leaving running water unnecessarily.
