How to get there

When travelling from the east: stay on the main road through Taynuilt. Just before the end of the 30mph limit turn right, signposted "Airds Bay", follow the tarmac road.
When travelling from the west: when you get to Taynuilt, turn left after the 30mph limit, signposted "Airds Bay", follow the tarmac road.
We are the sixth house on the left, signposted Mountain View. Go past my house and up the track, Mountain View is the first on the left.

Getting around
Oban is a thriving small town, 12 miles west, with a extensive choice of shops, supermarkets, hotels and restaurants. It is the Gateway to the Isles so there is a large number of ferry routes to the islands to choose from as well as many small boat trips. Most people travel up by car but we do have visitors that come up by rail. We are just a mile from the railway station. We can most times be around to pick you up. A lot of our visitors choose to hire a car as the buses and trains although regular do not run as often as in a city! Cyclists have miles of quiet country road to explore, including a brand new cycle route from Oban to Fort William with large sections of free of motor traffic.
