The closest airport is Kalamata Airport, only 20km away.
Alternatively, Athens Airport is approximately 2.5 hours drive.
You can also take a bus from Athens to Kalamata, and from there take another bus to Petalidi, but unless you plan to use a local bus for all your transportation needs it is strongly advised that you come with a car so that you can enjoy the nearby sights.
If you are coming by ferry from Patras it will take you approximately 2 hours to reach Petalidi.
