Within a couple of minutes walk from the villa there are buses stops either side of the main road and run approx every 15 minutes. One way goes to Mijas itself (under 5 minutes) and then on to Fuengirola (about 15 minutes with stops) while the other route runs buses down to Torremolinos. It is possible to walk into Mijas Pueblo (village) but it is steeply uphill and takes around 20 minutes so on a hot day if you don't want to use a car the bus might be the preferable option!

Taxis can be hired at modest cost and you can catch a train into Malaga from Fuengirola for a good day out. You can catch a ferry to Tangiers in Morocco.

It is recommended that you hire a car to fully explore and enjoy all that can be accessed from our well located holiday villa.

- 30 minutes to Malaga, Marbella, Puerto Banus

- 60 minutes to Ronda, Antequera, Nerja

- 90 minutes to Granada (Alhambra), Cordoba, Gibraltar
