How to get there
If travelling by train you can get to the Salerno train station and then continue on to Positano by ferry; or at the station of Naples and continue to Positano by taxi.
From Naples is certainly preferable to take a taxi to the hotel.
PS: I recommend booking the taxi in Positano because you know in advance the cost of the service, and be accompanied to your room easily.
