From the A1 M come off at Scotch Corner and on to the A66 travel about 6 miles.

Come off the A66 at Greta Bridge you have to cross the duel carriageway , about 4 miles into Barnard Castle, passing the Bowes Museum on the right.

You will come to a large round stone structure we call the Butter Market, use this as a roundabout, turn right straight through the town centre, carry on through the town until you get to the road to Middleton in Teesdale , turn left carry on past Glaxo Smith Cline , straight on for about 1 mile then turn right at the sign for Kinninvie we are 200 yes along the road on the left
