How to get there

There is an Avis rental place onsite at the airport in Manta.
Airport Pick-up: Please contact our property manager Diane Herbert if you need transportation from the airport.
Hostel: If you fly into Quito late and need a place to stay overnight, Quito Airport Suites is where we stay and I highly recommend it. Shuttle to and from the airport.
Bahia is a short 75-minute drive from the Manta Airport, which is serviced several times per day with flights from Quito.

Getting around
Bahia de Caraquez is bustling with expats from around the world. There are great places to eat throughout the town, which is located on a small peninsula four blocks width. Visit the market for fresh fruit, vegetables or seafood, or walk along the Malecon and enjoy the ocean and river view. In Bahia, everything is within easy walking distance, or take a .75 cent ride in one of the eco-friendly pedicabs. A yellow taxi around town should cost around $1.50 one way.
