How to get there
To get to Mancora it is advisable to fly to Talara (55 minutes from the airport by taxi), or to Tumbes (1.45 hours from the airport by taxi). Surfingbirds is located in La Quebrada, former Barrio Industrial. The access is from Puente Cabo Blanco, on the dry river bed towards the hills, at 300 meters from the seashore.

Getting around
The nearby places of interest as Pocitas, Vichayito and Quebrada Fernandez are accessible by taxi or tourist service. El Nuro, Cabo Blanco, Punta Sal and Manglares are further away and could be visited from Mancora. For moving around it is advisable to hire recommended drivers.
