BY AIR:
Travelling to Casa Karibu is simple. Fly into Maputo International Airport, catch a taxi to the Maputo Marina and our boat will transfer you to our villa on the Santa Maria Peninsula.
Quotes for the boat transfer from the Marina are available on request.
TRAVEL BY CAR TO MAPUTO
Driving to Maputo is enjoyable and easy. Once you arrive in Maputo, get to the Maputo Marina where there is safe parking is available at a nominal cost. Our boat departs from the Maputo Marina at extra cost. Quotes will be submitted upon request.
DRIVE THROUGH THE MAPUTO ELEPHANT RESERVE
For the adventurous travel through the beautiful Maputo Elephant Reserve. Its essential to have a 4 x 4. Directions will follow should you choose this option.

Getting around
Canoe around the bay and get your bearings from the calm bay. Take a chapa (taxi) to explore the village and the beach. Walk to Ponte Abril to see the wreck and swim in the ocean. You can also catch the local taxi to the beach for a couple of hours Our tinny (tender boat) takes you to the snorkelling point. Once at Casa Karibu, one doesn't need a vehicle to get around.
