Head toward Aguas Zarcas from Ciudad Quesada on the main road. Take a left onto a rock road at the Abastecedor San Rafael (it's roughly 6 mi from town; there's a bus stop on the other side of the road). If you hit Los Termales del Bosque, you've gone too far. The house is 1.4 mi/1.8 km from the main road. Just go straight up the road, and it will be on your left. It's the first two-story house, and it's the only one with a wraparound, glass balcony.
