Getting around
Ryde bus station is a 15 minutes walk along the seafront from Appleysands and buses go to all parts of the Island. There is also a taxi rank there and a train station that takes you to Brading/Sandown and Shanklin There is also a hovercraft service in this area to take you across to Southsea The Fast cat also operates here and takes you over to Portsmouth.
