UK - Most major charter airlines serve Crete, either Heraklion or Chania airports (equidistant from Villa Eleni), and Easyjet also serves Heraklion from Luton, Manchester and Gatwick, and Chania from Stansted. Jet2 flies to Heraklion from Manchester, East Midlands and Leeds. RyanAir now serves Chania from Stansted, East Midlands and Birmingham, and Monarch to Heraklion from Birmingham. Alternatively there is a very good service via Aegean Airways to both Heraklion and Chania from all over Europe.

For other European countries consult AirBerlin, Easyjet Swiss, Germania, and RyanAir from Italy and Germany.

For car hire we recommend Eurocars for the best service but all major car hire companies operate locally and arrange airport pick-up.
