Getting to Tinos is basically quite easy. If you travell in the summer it is possible to take an airplane to Mykonos from where it is only 30 min by boat to Tinos. If travelling outside of the main season it will be necessary to fly to Athens. From the airport you can take a bus to the harbour of Rafina, wich runs at least once every hour and takes about 30 min. The boat from Rafina to Tinos leaves twice a day, one in the morning 8am and one in the evening at 5.30pm and takes around 4 hours. There are faster boats during the day which take around 2 hours but are double the price, It is also possible to take the boat from Pireas harbour, which leaves 7.30 in the morning and takes 5 hours. Tickets for the ferries are available at each harbour.
