Gerani nowadays is a tourist village with all the right infrastructure, from hotels, taverns, restaurants, to cafes, supermarket and bakery. In summer the picturesque streets are overwhelmed by visitors, whereas all year long the hospitable population of about 1,000 inhabitants organizes traditional events keeping the traditional way of living. There is also a small stone theater where summer events take place.
