From either Anchorage or Fairbanks, take Alaska Highway 3 to Milepost 99. Turn onto the Talkeetna Spur Road. Take the Spur Road toward Talkeetna. At Milepost 3, turn right onto Yoder Road. Follow Yoder Road 4.5 miles to a right turn (just past a large metal bridge) onto West Montana Creek Road. In .4 miles, turn left onto Kustaka Road. At the top of the hill, follow the sharp curve to the right; Kustaka become Malaspina Loop Road at this point. Basecamp is 1/4 mile down Malaspina on the right. Street numbers are posted on vertical log posts on the left side of the driveway entrance.
