Getting around
The nearest mainline train station is at Truro, 10 miles away, with services to Falmouth, St. Ives, Newquay and a direct route all the way up to London. Trains from London Paddington take approx 4 hrs to Truro and is a very scenic journey along the coastline. St. Agnes village is very well served by an excellent bus network, which extends to the outlying villages of Mithian, Mount Hawke, Blackwater and Porthtowan, and connects us all to larger places like Truro and Redruth. A fun way to visit St Ives is to drive 10 mins to St Earth and take the very scenic local train to St Ives. The line starts at St Earth, and you can enjoy the spectacular views from the train window as the line sweeps along the coast past the golden sands.
