By road , Vaujany is reached taking the RD 1091 ( the road linking Grenoble - Briançon ). You leave the RD 1091 at Rochetaillée for the Départmentale 526 for the "Vallée de l'eau d'Olle". It is about 50 minutes from Grenoble.

There is a petrol station in Allemont - the small town below Vaujany. The supermarket in Vaujany is quite small. There is a large Casino in Bourg D'Oisans and both a Carrefour and Intermarche in Vizille (a town midway to Grenoble).
