How to get there
From the airport, take the train to Cagliari central station (frequency every 30 minutes, € 1.50 each) and then from there a taxi (8/10 euros) or bus no. 8 in Piazza Matteotti and get off at the Porcell stop. If you decide not to take a bus from the station, walk about 15 minutes, only if you have little luggage and good legs because it's all uphill! The shopping center of Cagliari is 5 minutes away, going down the stairs of the ancient staircase of S. Chiara you arrive in a few mutes in the Marina and Stampace district. To reach the beach (Poetto) it is necessary to take the vehicles (see CTM website) it takes about 20 minutes. The neighborhood is a limited traffic area, where it is not possible to park or transit between midnight and 9 am. There is a large paying car park 5 minutes away on foot.

We are in the heart of the city, everything is at your fingertips! The most important monuments are found here, the Castello district is the oldest, but it is easy to reach the other historic districts: La Marina, the most colorful and lively where the Cagliari nightlife takes place, is a stone's throw away. Stampace full of churches and Villanova with the characteristic narrow streets full of plants.
