How to get there
The cottage is only 30 minutes drive from Edinburgh. Perfect if your arriving by train, plane or other transport. Follow the M90 north take exit 6 at Kinross Wester Balgedie is only four miles from Kinross, which has supermarkets, pubs and restaurants. You can also take a little boat to Castle Island where Mary Queen of Scots was held prisoner by her cousin Queen Elizabeth 1.
