How to get there
If you arrive by plane (Francisco Sá Carneiro airport), the best way to come to the apartment is by taxi (+or- 15min time and 16 euro cost).
It is possible to get from the airport to the apartment, taking the metro first (Line E - Direction Estádio do Dragão - Exit at Station Casa da Música), followed by the bus (Line 203 - Direction Castelo do Queijo - Exit at Station Crasto), in a total of about 45 minutes (it may take longer on weekends).
Either way you should acquire the Andante Tour card at the Tourism Information Office at the Airport. With this card you can travel in public buses, Metro and urban trains in all the city of Porto for a chosen number of days.
However, it is easier and quicker to come by taxi.

Getting around
From the location, you do not need a car to move around in the city. The area is served by several bus lines (200, 202, 203 and 500). Of these, line 500 is the most interesting, as it follows the course by the sea and river to the historic city center. In the historic center it is possible to rent bicycles.
