How to get there
From Pwllheli, take the A497 towards Abersoch. When you get to the A499 by the Glyn Y Weddw pub turn sharp right up the steep hill onto B4413.
Go on this road passing through Mynytho , after 1/2 a mile turn left its signposted to Rhiw/ Plas Yn Rhiw. follow this road up to the post box by the bridge ,turn left over the bridge. Keep going until you climb the very steep hill, passing the Plas Yn Rhiw NT property on your right(Do not turn off) and WE ARE A MILE ON from their gateway. Go straight over cross roads at top of village towards Aberdaron,(Do not go to Aberdaron) The Chalet's wooden gate is on your right , and has a sign on it statingTYDDYN MEIRION CHALET and a pottery Owl !!.WE ARE 0.01 SOONER THAN SATNAV states DESTINATION!!..

We have a rural bus Twice a day , usually in the wrong direction! and the nearest major Rail station is Bangor 44 miles away.
