How to get there
Ferry travel from the Mainland is operated by either Red Funnel Ferries from Southampton to Cowes or Wight link Ferries from Portsmouth to Ryde , and Lymington to Yarmouth.
Once on the Island, why not try the local buses using Vectis, they have a rover ticket which will let you travel all around the Island, hop on an off all day.

Getting around
Getting around the Island is very easy, the local buses are fantastic , they are operated by Southern Vectis. Regular buses run between the main towns and resorts until very late at night, with services to rural areas operating throughout the day.
