The A10 motorway from Salzburg to Klagenfurt and points beyond passes down the valley (no motorway noise at the house). From the North the best exit is Gmünd, and then follow the signs to Trebesing and then Altersberg. ( around a 10 minute drive from the exit). From the South (Klagenfurt) the best exit is Seeboden, Millstattersee - turn right at the T juction, then right again on the B99, then follow signs to Altersberg.
