From Tarbert follow the (A859) road left up the hill. Carry on for approximately 3 miles, do not take the left turn signposted for Golden Road (bus stop at junction). Take the next left which is about a mile further on. You will see a sign for "road bending to the right" and the left turn is about 50m after it. Carry on down this single track road and take the first left (2 caravans at junction). Macaulay Cottage is the 4th house on the left with a metal gate. Parking is available in the layby just before the house or in front of the garage opposite the house.
