By car, from Leongatha head east on the Strzlecki Highway towards Mirboo North. Take the first turn right onto Mardan Road. Travel 5 kilometres along Mardan Road and turn left into Hydes Road - a small oak-lined 'Avenue of Honour' with only three houses. Walnut cottage is number 30 - the only drive on the RHS. Swing hard right at the top of the drive to come around to the cottage.
