How to get there
Most people come via the Wright Memorial Bridge. Once on the island, continue to follow the bypass for 4.5 miles, turn left onto White Street, then left onto Hallett Street.

Getting around
Kitty Hawk and the surrounding area are best explored by car. While not very wide, the barrier islands are long. Cabs,Uber, and Lyft are available, but there is no other public transportation. From the north, 168 brings you across the Wright Memorial Bridge, down 4.5 miles, and make a left on White Street,and a left on Hallett Street. From the west, motorists take rt.64 through Manteo, north on 168, right on White Street, and left on Hallett Street.
