How to get there
Our renovated cottage is nestled in woods just a short drive or walk from a lovely little local village , La Caillere , where you’ll find all the amenities, bakery , , very well stocked supermarket, tobacco- press , gas station , , restaurant...etc.
For shopping 15 minutes driving through the countryside, is Chantonnay with a lot of shops or other side is Fontenay Le Comte with a lovely market on Saturday morning , where you can spend time to visit it before arriving here.

Railway La Roche sur Yon 35minutes driving or Luçon 30 minutes driving. **** last minute informations for your luggage: We provide bath towels and pool towels ( to remain in the property) and also beds and kitchen linen. ( just take your own beach towels ) Hairdryer and straightener, an iron as well are at your disposal. We hope that this makes life a bit easier for you with regards to packing. Because lake view cottage is more than an ordinary «gîte »you are welcome as our own family or friends.
