How to get there
Fly into Cozumel International Airport if possible. Alternatively, you can arrive at the Cancun Airport and take a shuttle flight to Cozumel, or take a taxi (about $80.00 US) or van to the ferry at Playa del Carmen, a 30-min. crossing, then a taxi to Casa Phoenix.

Getting around
TripAdvisor says, "Cozumel is one of the safest travel destinations in Mexico and may be one of the safest places for travelers all across the world. The people of Cozumel are friendly, the government of Cozumel is legitimate and the area is designed with the needs of tourists in mind." You can walk from the condo to almost every restaurant, shop or night spot. Two Super Walmart-type stores are a 5 min. walk or closer. The dolphin encounter is a block away. If you don't feel like walking, taxis are abundant. The only reason you might want to rent a car is to drive around the island (Mayan ruins, tequila factory, eco park, etc.) Or you can hire a taxi.
