How to get there
A car is recommended as the area is surrounded by numerous places of interest.
Bracciano is connected to Rome and its airports by a modern road system, as well as by public transport. Fiumicino International Airport is 40 mins away, Ciampino airport 50 mins. There are regular buses that pass 200m from the villa and a train service 3km away in the centre of Bracciano that stops at St. Peter`s Station just outside the Vatican City. It also links up to Rome’s underground/subway system at Valle Aurelia to go to the Spanish Steps, Trevi fountain and most of the main tourist attractions (10 minutes).
However, for maximum convenience and accessibility to all the region has to offer, including Rome’s vibrant nightlife, we recommend that you have a car.

Getting around
A car will give you the freedom to visit the surrounding area, the lake and the Etruscan towns around Viterbo. Rome is close but we recommend that you go by train because traffic can be heavy and parking is a nightmare.The train station is in the centre of Bracciano and it takes about 50 minutes to get to the underground station of Valle Aurelia from where you can reach all the main attractions in the eternal city. There is a bus that runs from Bracciano to Castel Giuliano every half an hor and stops 200m from the villa.
