How to get there
Turn right when you leave the Airport, travel toward Suva along Queen's Rd. and when you reach Sigatoka continue along Queens Rd. You will pass several villages; Korotogo, Malevu, Vatukarasa and Namada. It is 4km from Namada to the Hideaway Resort. The next village is Tagaqe. From Tagaqe to Maui Bay East Road it is 3km. Maui Bay East Road is on your left coming from Nadi direction just after passing the supermarket/service station/restaurant. There is a small sign on the left on Maui Bay wall, turn left and about 100 metres along Maui Bay East Road turn right into Rainbow Drive. Another 100 metres on you left you are at Vakaviti Kalokalo - Fijian Star.
Getting around
BUSES are the way most locals get around, so if you want to enjoy an authentic Fijian experience this is the way to do it. Buses offer regular services. Time tables available at the house. CAR is a good way to explore Viti Levu at you own pace. Book your car before arrival. We can make recommendations for local car hire.To drive in Fiji, you'll need a valid driver's license from an English-speaking county or an international driving permit. TAXI, If you don't want to take a bus or hire a car, taxis are virtually everywhere. Local taxis are at the supermarket 2 minutes walk. Best to negotiate a price first.
