You really need a car to take advantage of the wonderful surrounding countryside but there are buses to and from Dumfries (though not many). Nearest railway station is Dumfries (10 minutes away by car). Nearest airports are Glasgow, Edinburgh and Newcastle all around 2 1/2 hours away.

Parking for one car is available directly outside the Flat.
