How to get there
The road network is really good around Chamonix. From France the N205 takes you into the southern end of the valley, from Italy via the Mont Blanc Tunnel from Courmayeur and from Switzerland via the Col de la Forclaz (an amazing drive) from Martigny.
The Chalet is at the bottom of Route de la Griaz, which is off the main road which runs through Les Houches. There is a tiny church on the corner, with Hotel du Bois next to it. You can park in the hotel or in front of the apartments. Les Houches has multiple junctions off the N205 and all of these connect with the main road which runs through Les Houches.

Getting around
Getting to Les Houches is easy from multiple airports, with Geneva being the closest, about 60 minutes drive away. The route is motorway all the way, so quick, easy and always open. There are also lots of bus services and trains that operate from airports to get to the valley and to Les Houches. The Chalet is about 2 minutes drive from the main route through the valley, but situated perfectly on a very quiet road that heads up the valley - high enough to be quiet, close enough to be a very short walk to amenities. The valley is world famous for its scenery, walks and extreme sports, the Tour Du Mont Blanc, UTMB and Marathon du Month Blanc to name a few of the well-known tours.
