Local buses run from just outside the cottage, giving easy access to Ambleside, Bowness, Kendal, Keswick and Windermere. Windermere train station is a short walk to the cottage. If travelling by car, take the main road through Windermere past the shops, turn left, continue on Lake Road until you reach Goodlydale Primary school, turn left on to Thornbarrow Road. Cherry tree cottage is half way up the road on the left.
