Only a short 7-10 minute drive to downtown Reykjavik. Bus no 14 stops right outside with a short convenient bus ride to downtown, Kringlan mall, Laugar Spa and Grandi area. By car, you are very close to Saebraut road, which takes you to/from Keflavik Airport, downtown Reykjavik, out of town, wherever you want to go. Reykjavik City Card is a great value, offering unlimited bus rides, swimming pool visits and trips to various museums. Gray Line Bus Terminal, Bonus Grocery Store and Vinbudin Liquor Store are located next to each other, 1.5 km away in Holtagardar. Car rental is recommended although it is not necessary.
